During the culls, there are many more people travelling around the area, both day and night. As a result, it is highly likely that injured wildlife will be found and will require rescue and appropriate and timely treatment.
As it was in West Somerset, it is also possible that wounded, dying badgers could be found. It is really important to ensure that an effective process for safely rescuing injured wildlife is put in place.
